Minimum Hardware Requirements

While Pulse is extremely lightweight, we recommend a minimum hardware configuration as follows:

Pulse Web Application Server

The Pulse Web Application Server services all requests for the web user interface, mobile device requests, and any custom applications that interact with the REST API. The following lists the minimum hardware requirements for a Pulse Web Application Server

·        32 BIT, 4 Core for Pilot

·        64 BIT, 4 Core for Production

RAM

·        2 GB for Pilot

·        4 GB for Production

Hard Disk

80 GB for system drive

Maintain at least twice as much free space as memory

 

Pulse Database Server

The Pulse Database Server is the primary repository for all Pulse messages, users, files, and images. The following are the minimum requirements for initial release.

·        4 GB for Pilot

·        8 GB for Production

Hard Disk

100 GB for data drives

80 GB for system drives

Maintain at least twice as much free space as memory

We recommend 100GB per 1,000 users per year
